Meet Chef Leevin Johnson, tall, good looking, charming and articulate, Leevin could well pass off as a Hollywood actor. But it’s cooking which is his chosen profession. Educated in India, Leevin has spent a long part of his career in the UK with hotels such as the Hilton International, the Taj Mahal and the St.James Court Hotel.
In his time, Chef Leevin Johnson has worked with pubs, gastro pubs, bistros, speciality and fusion restaurants. His expertise is quite clearly continental food, but as he tells us his love for eating Indian food has made it a close second. His expertise in Indian food covers a wide range of cuisines including the Indian Chinese food of the North East, the aromatic Biryanis from Hyderabad, the rich Punjabi food of the North East and the lip-smacking street side food of Mumbai.
Currently Chef Leevin Johnson is the Head Chef of a leading 5 star hotel in the city. Join him and a selection of special guests as they take you on a tour of India and the various cuisines it has to offer.
